Shop Management
Location: Princeton SoA - Princeton, NJ
Role: Manager of Digital Fabrication, Research, and Technologies
It was my responsibility during my three years managing the Embodied Computation Lab at Princeton University School of Architecture to equip and outfit the facility with the resources necessary for faculty and student research and education. This included the installation and management of a fleet of robotic industrial arms, the use of a 5-ton bridge crane, and the acquisition and maintenance of a host of digital and analogue fabrication machines.

Our work truck was in need of a new bed. I decided to rebuild it in-house to better integrate it with the capabilities of the facility.
I coordinated and consulted with many student teams over the years to build mock-ups, prototypes, and full scale installations.
I worked with various faculty to support their robotic and architectural research projects. More information on c.r.e.A.t.e lab’s work can be found at soa.princeton.edu.
